Heading to Texas

so far so good I think I need on the water time

Hey guys just wanted to let everyone know we are back from Texas got in late on Saturday. Now back to the grind, but the trip went well with truely now porblems all the way through. The Hospital staff were all great, helpful and treated us great. We hope the info they got from us will help out in there reserach.

So here is the soboring news, turns out the Doubled Gene issue we have is connected to Autism. Son of a #*#!# we did not except that. The Doctors did say it is connected to but very different from Autism. That kid of knocked us on our heels when we heard that. But good news is my kids are struggling in school and in need of some more help. The Doctor said he will right a letter to help us get the services that they need. He also said the the condition we have makes them in need of help from the school and this is legally required. I am sure they will still be a fight but it will help to have this letter.

I just wanted to say thanks very much guys for your well wish's prayers and support (both emotional and financial). It was well recieved by my family and I am we cannot ever thank you all enough. Tight lines all and thanks

Hey Jeff. I am happy that you and your family were able to find out a little bit more info. That is cool that the doctor will help make sure that your kids get the education they require. I hope everything works out for the best!

With what your kids have and being part of autism you maybe able to get help through the state on that as well. I know parents of autism kids get help with funds, medical, education and I'm not sure what else.
