I don't have any bungee cables holding it down just got the secured on to the side of the tube with clips on the d-rings I'm thinking of adding some foam on the bottom to help support the weight better ?

The D-rings will hold it, but don't expect too much weight holding capacity from it. It will snap if the total weight exceed 25lbs, which also include water weight bearing down in the PVC pipe/equipment. Stability is very minimal, so you may lose your equipment during turbulence.

Ima get some straps to hold it down then so ill reduce the chances of losing my gear thank @theasianguy when I get a fish finder I want to build a newer design with abs rather than PVC unless I can find the right stuff of PVC

Fishfinder can be mounted as stable as abs. Just get a thick 480PSI (1/2") PVC setup. That's more than sufficient. Look up the Aaron's Fishcat mod. Cross bar behind the tube should be 3/4" to 1", otherwise, the side frames is only required to be 1/2" to have enough strength to sustain to 35lbs worth of weight per side. That's 5 times more weight than you need per side before your tube flipside.

Suggestion, get a nice DI (down imaging) fishfinder. Lowrance HDS or Humminbird DI. It Jury-rig your fishfinder with a 14.8V Lithium Ion battery, and you'll have plenty of fun on the water. Fisher finder with DI, on Craigslist, is about $100. Add the LIon 14.8v pack with the charger, it will be another $60.
