very cool set-up. I like that side tray. What's on the other side of your frame?

Very nice.

I have a question to all the tube guys that put the rod holders at 45* pointing backwards. Why?

My experience with rods pointing backwards is rod tip collisions with general "stuff" I am fishing around. Makes it hard to maneuver in a slip and around moorings and docks amongst other "stuff". In fresh water not so much but I have still had my share of hanging up in brush and trees. It's that "out of sight" aspect that screws me up with this design.

But I must be missing something because I see so many set up this way.

Casting is the main reason for building it at an angle. Vertically positioning them limits your casting space. If you got your casting dialed in there is no need to "go into" the docks and work them! Smile

Ha ha nice try bro but there is more than one way to pull line and I go places you could never cast ... not even side arm. I got no problem with my casting ...and there is folks here that could testify. But hey to each his own. I GUESS I could say that if you casting was dialed in you wouldn't need to put your tubes at an angle...but I won't say that cuz that would be all upity and stuff.

Ha ha you maker of the rod... afro .you have my respect. I like playin..you know that! lol!
