Decided to take a last minute trip up to Stockton to see my parents. As always, I packed light in regards to everything except my fishing gear.
Arrived on Wednesday and did some location scouting. I have always wanted to float the Delta but the current or boat traffic always made me think twice.
Got some intel from a Central Call forum and club called Bass n Tubes and decided to launch from a place called Herman's and Hellen's Marina.
Fished Thursday and Friday mornings for about 3 hrs each. Flipped jigs with bugs and ringer worms toward island vegetation. Ended up with 8 LMB. Most were in the 1.5 to 2 lb range.
