Found this bad boy in the rafters of my dad's garage. He said he bought it about 14 years ago. I just finished servicing it and this thing performs like a dream!

That was state of the art back then. "Graphite" was the hot new material. Nice to see an old school reel.

I was amazed how clean it was when I opened it. I expected for all the grease to be dry and cakey but it still looked good. The spool bearing is in pristine conditions and it only has one spool bearing instead of two.
