Simple Fun Gathering October 5th who's up

Gotta say thanks to everyone who hooked me up with saltwater gear today I couldn't be more appreciative!!! It was fun tubing with familiar faces as well as new ones and it wasn't terrible fishing considering the conditions. Thanks for getting this organized Jeff already looking forward to the next one and tubing the salt more. I caught a 3/4 lb. spotty for my first saltwater fish on the first cast after changing baits from red to green and I think green ended up being the color of the day for everyone. Tight lines!

Green has always been good for me...3/4lb..phttt, wait till ya hook into a solid 3 lb'r.........

Good morning FELLAS!!! Had a great time yesterday. That wind was BRUTAL!!!! But, I guess we all share the same addiction....FISHING!!! Wind was not gonna stop us from going out Just had to change the game plan. Which was to paddle like hell to stay put!!!  Looking forward to next outing. Hope it's sooner than later. Gotta say I was being stubborn about switching to the color green as suggested by socalfishkilla. On my second cast after switching to a red w/red glitter slayerhead and a motoroil colored hammer. Got hit at the end of a dock along the wall. Didn't feel very big till he almost broke surface and darted back down to the bottom. Then it felt much bigger. Pulled that sucker up and weighed in at 2.1lbs. Had my heart racing didn't want to pop off. That S**t made my day. Tight lines everyone til next time.

I caught my first legal size halibooot! But when I try to lip him with the pliers thing, got all crazy and shaky and spit the hook off!

That's awesome Eddie you caught your pb but it blows he got away...

Made it out all the way to the bouy line, yup in that crazy wind! Landed two spotties and that's all she wrote!

Upload your pic's at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] then click on the pic, on the right side of the pic, you'll see tags for thumbnails, and the full size pic, right click on the IMG tag, it will copy the pic. Then start your post, then left click and the url for the pic will appear..once you hit send, the pic can be seen.

Copy and paste the IMG code from photobucket or other hosting company that you have your photos stored at. Done.
