Raffle Rod for next Gathering

Here is a teaser shot of the rod I'm working on for the raffle.  Carbon Fiber/Graphite combination blank, 6'8", 10-20lb.  I should be done with it in about a week or so.

So when is the next gathering?...Or should I start a thread for a little competition in about two weeks from now on a Saturday to be able to raffle this off soon?

Question for you guys since eventually it will be owned by one of you guys, should I do this acid wrapped or conventional? The majority of the next 7 posts will win.

Acid hands down fo sho. Toy drive will be in late Nov. Or early Dec. I am still working on product donations and will be making a flyer soon. Do it how you would like wiseguy, but I am in on this one.

DAMN!!! Looking super sweet!!! I need to get a swimbait rod going. That's all I'm missing for the arsenal. If and when you get a chance. I'd like to get something started. Lemme know thanks.

don't even know the difference but I'll jump on the bandwagon and say Acid!  

Desert, acid wrap are where the guides spiral around the blank from the top to the bottom like a spinning rod, giving you the best of both worlds, backbone of a conventional rod (spine on top) and casting distance of a spinning rod. Google it, it looks tripy but it actually works very well if not better than a traditional rod with the guides inline on top of the spine.

Hey Tubefish, not a bad idea, maybe on the next one. This one is going to the winner that catches the fattest fish on the 26th! Hope you can make it. Spread the word to other in your neck of the woods that might be interested in a little friendly competition.

So is the winner a combined weight of 3 fish, or is it the heaviest one fish?
