free is good right??

co worker found out im a lefty and brought me a baitcast reel in left hand retrieve

the reel is a shimano and it says bantam curado on the front and on the side cu 201 its complete and works great but does anyone know if they are
good reels ?? i have no idea about the baitcast reels from shimano so
any advice would be great is it worth servicing/upgrading or should i just
see if someone needs one for parts ??
are parts still available for these reels anyone know ??

That's a good reel but I wouldn't invest a lot of $$ on it. Just service it

Shimano Curados are great reels. You got yourself a great starter. Free is great!!!! I'll take it if you don't want it. Lol. Tight lines.  

That's a bulletproof reel that cast really nice. Yes, parts are still available for it. Service it (if it needs it) and fish the crap out of it! It might not be the prettiest but the fish don't seem to mind.

I love all Shimano gear.

I have the same reel in RH. It is great! Would love one in LH if you think about selling.

BTW, the lifetime warranty is not on reels.

I had one before I knew how to use a bait caster and gave it away I wish I would have kept it
