Hey All,
It's Wade here from Float Tube Fanatics & Fish Finder Mounts .com . I really almost never post here so I hope you might forgive my intrusion - and allow me just a bit of air time here. Just a quick note that we have released some larger capacity (bigger battery) mounting systems. These are only on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] currently, but I'll have them up on the FTF site very soon too. They are more expensive than our first models, but they give you another 2.1 amp hours of run time, so close to double the runtime for your fish finder. We have to machine quite a bit more plastic to make the new larger battery box mounts. Anyhow, It's crazy, when I started Float Tube Fanatics, I thought everyone would be happy with the more compact fish fniders like the Piranhamax models, Lowrance Elite 4's and the Garmin Echo's etc; but we have guys mounting fish finders like your Lowrance HDS5's and 7's. That's one big fish finder on a float tube, but hey, if people want it, were trying to make it for them. These new systems are a bit larger and heavier, but still relatively compact all things considered. Anyhow, have a look if you like. Our contact information is on the header of our websites. If you have any questions, or need any help just give us a shout. Tight lines my fellow fanatics
Oh, by the way, here's a vid too if that helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pzxsouxApE
Again, please forgive me if I am breaking any rules here... Some forums have a sponsors area where we can do this. Jeff, just let me know if there is a better way to do this next time.
