My Lost Lure

My wife lost my a lure that I have never caught a fish on.
No biggy except it was a lure I got from my fathers tackle box 40 years ago! Sweet little bass bait with a small spinner in front. I never caught a fish with it because I didn't want to loose it.

I have lures like that from my Grandpa! I keep them in my tackle boxes "just because". I learned to use them because they have more meaning to me than I can explain to the wife or kids and I'd rather lose them working than have them disappear. Maybe I'll hang some on a wall one day.

My favorite rod I got from my Grandad  when I was 13 and I still use it. (54 now) shh

I'm a sentimental dude so stuff like that I keep safe in the room.

I had a Girlfriend that liked fishing, I bought her own chepo set up so she wont touch my gear

Okay did she lose it while FISHING with it, or just around the house somewhere?

It was a half second of heart stopping but hey it's the wife and she's here fishing.

Sounds like a topwater bait. How'd she lose that???

Not a top water. It was a 2.5" trout looking lure with a 45 degree spinner that had one small 1/2" blade.

Hell, be happy that she enjoys fishing with you.

I am so happy that she comes with us that I almost feel weird when she's not there.
