Who likes BBQ pork?

Dear Board,

Last week I made a big score at the local supermarket.  I know it pays to shop early on Sunday morning because that's when they put the meat that is about to expire out for sale.  Sometimes you have to almost run over a blue haired old lady to get there first but occasionally you score a $ 3.00 pork roast like this one here.

Sorry for the blurry pictures but a 3 1/2 hour cook takes a couple of beers to accomplish.

Dear dlobo,

I didn't want to scare anyone by saying I drank a 12 pack, or so.

Beer and BBQ go together like peanut butter and jelly dude.

Beer is needed during prep time, during cook time, during eating time, and even when doing the dishes.

Brother, I live in South Carolina - we got a thang with bar-b-que.

Nice roasting job and score on the goods.

I look for those deals all the time as well as long as you are cooking it on the day you buy it you're good. Just don't do that with fish or seafood it must be as fresh as possible.
