Hey fellas! Went out on Thursday with FishindaChronarch, SirMIxaLot, and my buddy J and we had a great time. Here's the report.
Launch: Coast Guard Station NPH
On the water: 5:15pm
Out the water: 10pm
Water Temp: 63 degrees
Baits used: Big Hammer Swimbaits
Launched from the Coast guard station in Newport Port Harbor. It was the maiden voyage on my new SFC tube. Met with FishinDaChronarch and SirMixaLOt and my buddy J. Caught my first ever spottie about 30 minutes in

After a about an hour of nothing I was throwing a bait into a spot where there was no boats and whammmmm, my bait got absolutely slammed as it was about to break the surface by a barracuda. I couldn't believe it.

We moved our to a spot that had a few boats parked in the harbor and the area looked fishy. Switched to a Black widow colored and bammmm.... a sandbass!

It was getting late and we were making our way back to the launch spot and I nailed a couple more spotties.

Had a great time with the guys and to call the trip a success is more than fitting. Love my float tube and I cant wait to get back out there. Thanks for reading.
