My current ride is the Browning Aggressor float tube I scored it brand new for dirt cheep. but found it was littered with issues from the start. most of witch i was able to solve one way or another
the first issue was the back rest bladder was poorly thermal welded that it wasn't saveable. I counteracted this by using some older pfd's cutting them open and and making a new safer backrest and had it tested by the coast guard to boot. The next issue was the seat besides not being sewing in the proper location but at an angle and farther back then needed the thread let go on its first use. I fixed this by double sewing it with a stronger mono thread and it lasted a while.
the newest issue is I'm finding that the nylon is shredding due to not being hemmed properly this has caused the seat to let go and currently making the tube unusable till i can order a few yards of coated 600 denier nylon to totally replace the bottom of the float tube with stronger seams and hems. I know I could buy a new tube and I'm working on that right now but this is a great tube for some of the ponds in my area and it had allot of meaning to me. unless i can find another of this exact version of this tube make I'm planning on a full over haul with seat reinforcements and and more.
this is her after the last set of repaires but you do not see the wicker creel on the right hand side. and yes that is a dog in the back pouch my dog loves to be out on the water with me and he stays right their.
