Lake Perris

I wanna go to lake Paris I just my brother a float tube he's 11 years old I wanna take him there so he can practice but also fish does anybody know what is easy to catch I don't have bass gear I have ultra light rods and reels anything would help to target any fish please and thank you .... Pedro

Ultra light rods and live worms or crickets will find you some bluegill at Perris.
If you have some crappie jigs give them a try. Where did you plan on lunching from?

Idk I haven't been there jerdon any good spots? Or any info would help?

If I were going to use ultralight and worms I'd launch from Sail Cove and try along the dam. I heard no reports of BlueGill in the shallows yet.

Plenty of Blue Gill in the weedline once summer is in full swing.

its for kids tourney, first 200 kids fish for free....

When ever your ready lets rock.....i usually go wednesday nights after work, i get off at 430 and luanching around 5ish....as for rods...a 6-6 rod will work fine, i have a 6-6 daiwa rod on a 2500 sonora with 10lbs test and its perfect....ive caught fish on 6lb test no problem...the 10lb test will work pretty much for anything the bay throws at you....ive caught up to 21 inch halibut on 10lbs caught them on 8lbs....but yeah...lets do this!
