Hello folks. I'm Steve in NorCal and I just bought my first float tube. It's a Trout Unlimited Gallatin model. I found it on Craigslist for only $40 and it's nearly brand new. I have been fishing from a boat for the last 15 years and recently sold the boat but still need my fix of fishing, so I down sized to the tube. I'm looking forward to getting out on the water, but first I need to get some waders. Any recommendations? I'm looking forward to exploring some of the smaller waters in Sonoma County like Spring Lake, Lake Ralphine, the Windsor ponds as well as Lake Sonoma.

Welcome Steve glad you found us, I would say Neopreen wadders would be the way to go. If you are NorCal it gets colder up your way so it will help keep you warmer in the colder months.
Good luck on you first trip and make sure you let us know how it went.
