Nice sunny day at Perris, met up with Wes at the boat launch. The boat traffic was incredible for a Wednesday morning so we didn't use the cement ramp.  I hooked up one on the drop shot a little after 7AM

Then we worked our way to the Island. Sporadically, I saw Bass everywhere from the shoreline out as deep as I coud see, six feet or so. I couldn't get one to bite till almost 12 o'clock, and on the dropshot again.

I hope this helps.

kobra, thanks

Chris, Sunday is less crowded than Saturday. I am spoiled living so close so I try to avoid weekends, but if you're coming out I'd be glad to meet up if I can.

Komori, it's about a 20 minute kick fishing all the way from the boat launch. Now that is the northside of island. I never kick around to the backside as I am not that energetic. The East end from the "old fishermans" cove is about 3 feet deep everywhere and is 6 or 7 feet deep at most.

On another note, it did appear the water level is back up the 2 feet or so from last two weeks.

Yep, MoVal, I can ride a bike there if I want.
It is the main reason I fish Perris primarily. I can be on the water in my tube before I can get to the 91 Freeway. I'd still like to meet up with you here.

When the water warms up, so I don't have to wear waders, I'll meet you there. You can show me bass fishing and I'll show you how to catch big panfish.

I doubt I show you anything about fishing, but I would really like to get on the water with you.
