Perris Thursday?

Painting the living room and dinning room, need a break Thursday. Local trout r pretty much history. So Perris and LMB r the ticket............GT

I'm gonna try my luck there Saturday. Anybody going then? I'm gonna be there with my buddy and maybe my girlfriend. His pops is nice enough to let us use his boat. I'm still gonna tube though.

I'll try and get there by 7:30 Jerdon. The weather report says 9 mph wind. Do the dam? What do ya think?

BTW, do u want my rigid apron for your cumbie? Kin didn't want it when he bought the tube......GT

There is a fishing derby for kids this Saturday in Sail Cove.

Oh wow that's awesome man! Good luck to your grandson! Big people can still do big people tube things though right? If so, I'll probably see you there!

There will be a big section of shoreline closed for the kiddies. Other than that spot it is game on.

You got my number, text me if you are wanting to meet up. The event is 7 to 1 and I am not sure when the kid has to be returned.

You got it Jerdon. Thanks Chronarch we shall try. Rumor has it on dfg.com they stocked Perris with trout this week. One last ride before the season is over baby!

Ok urban, you twisted my arm... I'll go to perris on Saturday. have you been there before? where would you want to meet? if the kids derby is at sail cove, probably better to launch at boat ramp... I usually go with jerdon but I see he's got plans already. are you fishing for that last load of rainbows or bass this time around?

I'll be with my buddy and gf on his pops boat. We will make sure to come say hello.

Oh and this will be our first time there. We will probably try for trout and see how it goes then switch to bassin'.

In the water at 8, slight breeze, heavy overcast. Water temp 65, 6' clarity. We'll a couple of bums but no sizeable fish. Their were 7 tubes on the water, only 1 guy, James did well. He had a 3" paddle tail soft plastic, top sardine color with grey body. He was using a trout rod, small spinning reel, braid with fluro topper. He would tube parrel with rocks, 4' of water, bouncing along the rocks with a slow retrieve. I did not have anything like that lure.
