Ok so I took my new Fish Cat 4 LCS out for it's maiden voyage in the bay here (Long Beach CA) first off I loved that I didn't have to reach down inside the pocket, through the flap that is too small for my hand to get through, and fish around inside for the valve like I did with the ODC420 piece of junk, plus once you found the valve inside the body of the tube the bladder would always shift causing the valve to rub or rest against the opening when inflated. Inflating the Fish Cat tube was a breeze and I was fully ready to go within 5 minutes. I had back pack straps from the ODC and they worked on the fish cat so good to go there. I had my Outcast fishin buddy finder mount fitted and attached and it held nicely in place as well. I got my fly rod rigged and got on the water... people complain about the stripping basket but I actually liked it .... it kept the line managed very well and there were no hang ups to report ... sometimes with the ODC design (apron wresting across your lap) the line would get stuck between my hip and the side of the tube or would get tangled easily. Regarding some peoples concerns about the 250lb weight rating ... I am ranging between 220 and 230lbs at this moment and I didn't feel like the tube was burdened at all, in fact I think it is more maneuverable and tracks better than the ODC. It feels like a much more solid beast even though it's a bit smaller. Also the pockets, although not as large as the ODC420 seem so much more spacious and the Kevlar like PVC side panels keep the pockets from collapsing making it easy to get at your gear. So far I'm giving this Fish Cat 4 LCS a 5 star rating but this is preliminary as it's only been used once.
