Who's on the map

OK bear with me on this......u know when u were a kid your Dad would mark all the states u had traveled thru.

What about a global map showing all the Countries/ States/ Provence's ect. that r on this site, that have a following, be it only 1 person. U could have the area of that chapter marked on the map.

The goal would be naturally to have someone in every part of the world participating on this site........What do u think BigFish?..........GT

It's a great idea! I'd be very happy to construct such a map. It only needs a green light from Jeff. Currently I'm working on a How-To video series for the FTFF. The first one should be posted up today or tomorrow. Be sure and check it out and let me know what you think!

I like it guys there is something like this already if you go to the bottom there is a link that says, How's is Online? when you look at that map it shows how is online and a general location of where they are at in the world. But I think it would be great to have this as a thread that can grow I will I say go for it I like it.

Unfortunately it only shows members currently online. I like the idea of a pin map showing each area where we have members.

You just need to write a program that will load everyone's user name and location into a kml file with a clickable link that will display it in google Earth. I've seen all kinds of neat things done with kml or kmz files.

All we need to do is find someone that's stayed at a Holiday Inn lately to do it as I have no clue what I just wrote but I know a lot is possible with it.

Maybe there's already an app for that?

I like it , they some ting like this on the NC Angler Forum it is cool to see how far spread we are.
