Went fishing for a few hours today on The Flathead reservation in Arlee.
Fished the Jocko River.
This River has always been one of my favorites. It is just a beautiful River full of life.
Beautiful native trout!
Deer! And beaver!
I was tossing some Rapalas, Panther Martins and some Cyclones.
To no avail. So I took it back to nightcrawlers.
Fly lining crawlers in the deeper pools.
Boom! Fish on got 2 beautiful cuttys.

The bottom pic I had to take back at home.
I regret not getting a good pic in the natural light.

Congratz on those!!

One of my favorite ways to fish. Flyline a crawler to a fishy looking spot. Something is going to grab it.

Thanks for sharing.

yes sir, I can toss every lure in my box and not get a single bite but fly line a crawler and WHAM!
Both were caught in separate lil pools right by some downed trees.
