So a few year back at a yard sale I found a book, "The one that got away" It was old and thick but it caught my attention. I bought it for a buck. Turns out it is a collection of old fishing stories. Or as the jacket says,
"A treasure of fishing stories and lore by"
Ernest Hemingway
Zane Grey
Rodrick L. Haig-Brown
Philip Wylie, Nick Lyons
and there are more. I have been reading it a little at a time for sometime now. But I have to say it is while kind of tough pretty cool so far. It seems to be pretty much fly fishing stories but all stories none the less.
I am not much of a reader. In fact be sides my EMT Text book and fish have no hands there has not been many other books I have read. However I am going to go out on a limb and say if you like to read and want to read stories, stories truly wrapped around fishing, then check out "The one that got away".
