Hit the old Fairmount Park again. The bass fishing is picking up at the parks, even after we had a cold spell and night temperatures really dropped. Sure are getting more small bass this year. But that's a good thing. They'll be bigger next spring!

nice job on the bass Komori , the fishing has really picked up there a fellow float tube angler , not sure if he signed up for the boards was up there yesterday as well and stuck a 10# .. I really need to hit this up Smile

it is a beautiful fish I will send you a pic in a PM as I am not sure if he would want me to share it here Smile

Yes Jerdon, I have been bringing my light rod along to make a few casts for the panfish here and there. I did find a few little Black Crappie off the north end of the green pier. I've been told to fish there right before dark.

Nice Job Bob, I usually get over to Fairmont a couple times a year. The year before last I kayak it a few times. I even got on a frog bite. Thanks for the report.

The first pic is a huge Bass compared to most of the cookie-cutter dinks that I've been pulling out here in the salt water!
It's always good to hear that a fishery is improving. That looks like a beautiful park.
