I got out to Perris this morning with a bunch of other anglers. Plenty busy for a Monday. There must have been 30 shore anglers on the bank as well as Kayaks and bass boats. I launched from lot 12.
Water Temp: 65
Air Temp: 58 to 70
Cloudy and Breezy
I farmed one in about 13 feet of water on the drop shot. I was messing with a little bit of a bird nest on my baitcaster when the drop shot rod bent and then relaxed. I put the baitcaster down and drop shot rod bent again and started given up line. I grabbed on gave a tug and it was fish on. I stopped losing line and got her head turned and about the same time the bass jumped. And then she was gone.
I found two more in reeds in about 6 feet of water.

The two in the reeds were Texas Rigged FoolsBait dropped deep in the mess.
