Kicked out during the peak high at 12:45 PM and rode the outgoing back to my launch site by 4:00 PM.  The first hour was slow, but it picked up once the tide got moving.  I got home in time to watch David slay Goliath in the Superbowl.  It was a nice Sunday afternoon  Very Happy

Well done! You are the halibut magnet for sure! Thanks for the report!

It's funny - I was out at the LAB a little before and after the high tide and had almost the same catch. I caught three short halibut, two spotties, and a mackerel.

Thanks Bob. That's funny about the similar catches. I also got a smelt (close enough to a mack), but I didnt think it was worth posting the pic.

I'll probably hit the LAB next
