Location: Los Angeles Harbor, I went and fished completely new waters today ... and ... BOY-O'-BOY!! .. . I had a great time and I learned so much!
Duration: 06:30 hrs until 11:30 hrs
Tidal Conditions: 06:30 hrs 2.4 ft, 07:30 hrs 3.4 ft, 08:30 hrs 4.3 ft, 09:30 hrs 5.3 ft, 10:30 hrs 5.8 ft, 11:12 hrs HT 5.9 ft ... etc.
Air temperatures: Heavy fog, 59 deg to 73 deg, the dense fog had lift to open sunny skies at 09:30 hrs
Water temperatures: 63 deg
Wind: 06:00 hrs 2 mph WSW, 12:00 hrs 5 mph WSW
Water clarity: Mostly gin clear in spots,
Large Leaf Kelp Beds: Abundant
Eel Grass Beds:Abundant
Visibility: 10 ft to 12 ft in spots.
Tidal Coefficient: (CE) 94 in the morning, this is a high rate.
Surf: FLAT, Swell: 0.9 ft, Sec's Between Sets: 8.
iSolunar Prediction: Minor Period: 09:20 hrs until 10:50 hrs.
Sea Dogs: 4- cruising bruisers

Bait Presence: Massive amounts of 1" to 4" shiners, also there were abundant schools of Greenback Mackerel and Jack Smelt ... breaking the water in chase of the smaller bait fish ... everywhere!
Dolphins: None to report.
Distance kicked: 2.84 miles.
Calories Burnt: 678 calories if I had been walking, so I figure approx 800 calories were burnt while kicking for 5-hours.
