Willow Creek Reservoir in Prescott, AZ

Oh what a day fishing with my son. We were in town for the weekend visiting family and decided to hit one of the near by lakes at about 9am. Chase spotted a bass near a rock as soon as we got to the spot, casted in, and landed his PB LMB (4.65lbs). I love seeing how excited he gets when he hooks into fish. In the next 2 hours I managed to hook into a real nice bass only to get shook off feet from shore, watch my son land another LMB (3.6lbs) and finally land one myself (4.2lbs). They're moving up into the shallows and looking for beds. Definitely a good prespawn time to land a few good ones. My son only casted 3 times. I think he's just trying to let me have a fighting chance.

It's always fun when the kids catch some. 4.65 is great!!
