I've only launched off the ramp there once. Asked the guy in the range shack if I needed to pay to park and launch he told me I could park in the free area and walk in no charge. I parked right in their parking lot no pronlem. May be a different spot but I'm not aware of another ramp down there.

Ya I have not done that yet but I have heard of others parking just outside the launch ramp for free and walking in.
