It's already quite the task to time the crossing of the channels on a clear day ... dodging the moving boats, ships, team racing canoes, swimmers and SUP's speeding thru the channel .... now add dense fog to the equation ... FORGET IT!!!
I could hear the people talking on their boats as they motored past me by in the dense fog ... I decided to stay close to the LAYC wall today.
I never did cross the channel today, I just played it safe on this day.
Gray Light: never happened due to fog.
Sun Set: 18:59 hrs, I'm enjoying the long days of light before they are gone again.
Moon Phase: Waning Gibbous.
Tidal Conditions: 06:00 hrs 1.1 ft, 07:00 hrs 2.1 ft, 08:00 hrs 3.2 ft, 09:00 hrs 4.2 ft, 10:00 hrs 4.8 ft, 10:42 hrs HT 5.0 ft, 12:00 hrs 4.5 ft ... etc.

Water clarity: translucent green.
