Went to the Eastern Sierra over the weekend and Caught this little fella in the Golden Trout Wilderness.

Used a 3wt. rod with a caddis fly (barbless hook} Size 14. 55 degrees C&R

Dude that is a bucket list fish for sure love it thanks for sharing. I use to fish native trout in Azusa Canyon it is so much fun but the Golden Trout is a very cool treat.

Thanks! It was definitely on my bucket list! I will have to try Azusa Canyon.

About four miles up hill. Some say there are streams closer but people are tight lipped about it. Typical fly fishing liars. HAHA
