Hello everybody. Just purchased me and my sons first Cumberland to get out of this covid 19 stress... Im looking forward to getting more involved in the forum..need lots of help too..lol.thnku.....oh by the way,can anybody help me find a location for launching point thats not barricaded?somewhere for beginner and safe?thanku Smile

Huntington Harbor is off limits at this time. I know cuz I went to Seabridge launch this morning at the crack of dawn only to be disappointed. Someone (anyone) please let us know when it reopens.

Welcome Freewillie I believe that f4mnect has recently been out to Newport and got on the water. Maybe we will hear from him soon. Either way welcome to the forum and glad you are getting your kid in as well.

I also fished down there as well in NPH a few weeks ago and I launched near 19th St. with Bob a.k.a. f4mnect.

The parks are closed.
Huntington Harbor is not off limits but public safety rules have been put in place such as closing gathering locations, especially with the heat that we are receiving this week.

There are other ways to get to the water besides through Seabridge Park. I’m sure you can figure it out.

Please join us Monday at the HH Sunset boat launch.
Arriving at 05:10 and launching at 05:30.
Parking $15 for all day
