1st. St Corix 8 ft medium heavy action Bait caster, 2nd baitcaster is a seeker medium action fast tip 6'6" I think, and the rest are re-furbed yard sale rods that I have messed around with to get them working again.

I pretty much use the random gear I picked up in group lot from the Feds. I think the poles are 6 & 7' med action and a small 5' med fast. None of them are fancy. I just went out and picked up a few shimano spinning reels to match up with them.

I'll probably upgrade my gear as I sell off the rest of the stuff in my garage. I still have a ton of car audio stuff, indoor grow gear, NIB chipped xbox 360's. Full size MK III.

Two pieces of tent pole. Yes duct tape is involved. A Mr. Big Fish spin caster reel with 80yrds of burgandy yarn top shot with 3 yards of kite string.

I'm on a budget.

I am still trying to figure out how the duck tape works in all this. Hey wax do you use the permanent marker to hide the kite string in the water. What a Face

The duct tape is wrapped on the poles to keep them from coming apart in the middle. Yes I do use the black marker to color on the last 2 feet of kite string.

Did I mention I tie my own flies now? Yep sure do. I use the collected hair from my daughters brush and tie on to a paperclip I have sharpened on the end. It's all really an ultra light set up if you will.

You know with our economic climate right now that may not be far off for some of us out there. I am very proud of your skill in making the best of a down like moment.
