LAH Wednesday 11-11-20
09:00 hrs until 09:48 hrs (48 minutes, this has gotta be a new fishing record somewhere! lol)
Session: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Attire: Board shorts
Air temperature was 49 deg and the H20 temperature was 60 deg.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I thank goodness ... that I finally landed my Skunk Buster at 09:30 hrs.
SP Dan's Fish Count: only (1) fish to report today.
So I plucked this 22 1/2" carrot from it's garden using a NED Rig ... and then I went home very satisfied ... indeed!

The highlight moment of my session was:
It happened just before I was ready to cast again ... my knot just became undone in-my-hand and I felt it come apart and I stopped!!
So I immediately re-tied my NED Rig [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] leader back-together with the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] braid and I had immediately cast it back toward my-launch-area when on the first cast ... my ultra-lite rod goes BENDO ... I could hear my lite 4 - 8 lb rod stressing during each of it's strong power dives!!
This time ... I RECON'd deep behind the enemies own lines, I battled them in their trenches and returning with my own reluctant prize, the victor!
I always allow the Halibut enough time to make their power runs and allow them to get worn out before trying to bring to bring em' aboard for their photo opt!
This one makes this my (10) tenth legal Halibut landed and photographed during this 2020 Season.
Thank you for taking the time to check-out my posting!
Tight-lines,
SP Dan
