One of the Christmas toys I picked up this year was a new watch. It is a Casio, and it is called the Fishing Gear Ana-Digi Watch. It is water resistant to 100 meters.  It has Analog hands and a digital readout of the time. I set the digital readout to 24 hour (Military) time so I can understand DanSP’s reports.

It also has a moon indicator to show what the current moon phase is. At the top it has a little window with representations of fish, the more fish you see the better the fishing conditions are currently. Also, when their predictions are high a little alarm flashes on and off that says fish….fish….fish. I have no idea how accurate the fish window is, but it does make me want to go fishing at times. You can scroll forward in time to see what their predictions of best times are going to be to catch fish and set alarms for yourself.

At any rate I was wondering what other people are using .

I was never a fan of wearing watches. Working on machinery every so often and having a habit of banging my hands/tapping things as I walk past destroyed a few other watches. However, I was gifted a fancy i-watch for xmas so I guess I need to learn how to work everything on it. Its nice to see how active I am with the fitness tracker on it though.

Kin,
I worked as a machinist for 18 years. Spinning cutting tools and rotating parts have a chance of grabbing anything that comes close. No watches, rings, jewelry hanging, or loose clothes at work for safety at work.

Now I have relaxed a bit. However, if my watch snags the line and a running fish drags the braid across my arm you can say " I told you so." Razz
