Four of a kind, lake Gregory

The past couple of weeks I feel that I have been cheating on my fellow LMB anglers, been up at Lake Gregory catching German Browns. Beautiful weather and quality trout, too bad they will be closing this weekend for the winter to tubing. I ended up catching Browns, rainbows, Crappie, and a small Catfish, all on red or orange trout worms and UL tackle. It would have been easier if I had brought my net, trout aren't as easy to lip as LMB and those browns have some sharp teeth.

All browns were C&R except two of mine where I wasn't fast enough and they inhaled the Trout Worm.

Heading back to Perris this week to work on those LMB's.

I didn't realize they closed for the winter!!! Is that due to the temp?

You can still fish from the shoreline, they shut down the boat dock and you aren't supposed to take anything out on the lake. They stocked Browns all year to eat the stunted crappies.

Just got a report from another tuber that was up there this weekend and it looks like the lake is starting to turn over.
