I just CRP’d my 19th and Personal Best “for the number of legal Hali’s landed in a Season, from my Cumberland float tube.
I matched my all-time-best PB Halibut count for the entire 2014 Season, back when I was surf fishing with Team S.W.A.T.
Note: Please folks ... this previously “netted” and CPR’d 26”er I landed has a split-tail from somebody using the “wrong kind of net”.
It could die after release from tail rot or even from a tail-grab which removes it’s protective slime coating.
I’m just saying ... “spend a few more pennies folk’s and get a net that won’t damage the Halibut!”
