General consensus

Hey guys, ftff's generally bored and annoying poster is back lol. Our style of fishing i feel is a very niche way of going about our sport yea? So my question for everyone would be. What do you guys think is lacking in float tube fishing? I'll start off, im a disabled young guy (a combat vet) im still young but not always able to get out and paddle as much as my young mind wants to. So I've been brain storming and trying to come up with a somewhat modular propulsion system Think, smaller than a trolling motor that will propel us. One that can traverse and is powerful enough to go atleast trolling speed and get us around where we need to go with minimal effort that can just be strapped on and powered by maybe a 12 v higher mah battery? Or maybe even a system that propels us using kinetic energy using a lever you push back n forth that would power a paddle like the old steamboats or propeller even. Ive come up with with ideas even where u use some kind of toggles like a parachute to steer. My ideas are all rough drafts currently but id like to maybe actually come up with a concept. I started thinking about this because a veteran buddy of mine, whos a double leg amputee, actually goes float tubing with me using that drill and propeller but he worries about his batteries getting wet ( lithium ion drill batteries and water can be bad mmmkay), as well as running out of batteries as ive actually had to tow him on my own power after he ran 3 batteries down in lake perris currents. Anyway what do you guys wish we could improve and would you be Willing to use a tube strap on propulsion system? There are systems out there and we need to explore this more. Not sure I can come up with any other needs for the sport but they this is a big one. I would love to try it out and good luck. Let me see if I can find some other ideas on that s that might help with your building plans.

I was even considering taking an underwater jet ski, tailor a switch and control device on it and there you go its all centralized right there. I think it would be especially helpful for the elderly or disabled or if you just want to be plane lazy lol. The point of it would be to help those or maybe give us trolling capabilities. Even if you've injured a leg it would be a viable option to keep us on the water
