Newport Beach Harbor Report 09-19

Me and my friend launched out from the public pier next to the wedge at about 630 am yesterday. it was a nice gloomy morning, water was cold about 60 and barley any wind. so we ended up floating all over the place, went pretty far. i crossed the channel and almost got ran over like always lol, its not my fault people have tunnel vision. any ways there is still tons of small bait everywhere in the harbor. i ended up getting 1 15 inch spotty and my friend got a tiny halibut. saw a few other tubers and called it quits around 1.

Nice job bro well done I was out in Huntington Harbor yesterday only managed 2 similar conditions. Time of the water is what matters.

Huntington Harbor has been tough for me to catch or i just suck lol. good stuff!!

Heck yea man I love fishing reports man. Thanks for sharing dude! I think sometimes we as fisherman always get caught up in the fishing and worry about sizes and quantity. But what truly matters is having a good time, enjoying the views, and as always fighting the good fight once we coax them In to biting. Dont worry bro... I suck at fishing too lol
