That's a nice video I'm seriously considering setting something up with my 500d camera, but I would die if It got wet or fell in the water or something. I might try and price out a waterproof bag.

Gopro cameras are awesome, you can mount anywhere and are waterproof, price range from $150-300 or get them used on craigslist for a little cheaper.

before I got my submersible cams I used a plain old digital camera. when I was doing some pics, and dropped it in the lake. I pulled it out right away, but it quit working and soon you could see water in the lens. I thought it was (soggy) toast! but I took it apart and left it in front of a fan for a day, put it back together and its working great!

Well I have a small camera I use now, but my big I put in a LOT of money on my bigger camera so It's not worth the risk.
