I haven't fully searched the forum so maybe this has been covered but has anyone ever tried mounting a Bixpy under their tube? I like simply kicking my tube but with my aging knees I have been thinking when the wind kicks up it would be nice to have an assist getting getting back to shore when I need to.

They had worked on a mount for float tubes as I was working with them years ago. Not sure it is still an option but I am sure if it is not you can still figure something out

It looks like they make an adhesive plate mount for the bottom of inflatables, but I have no idea what kind of adhesive to use if I decide to mount it under my Cumberland.

This guy has a really good video on a float plus one motor he put on his float tube. Step by step instructions and looks very professional.

Yeah I had seen that video. I wasn't certain it would be the same mounting to the Cumberland. I believe the Cumberland is PVC on the bottom but still not certain what adhesive should be used if I give it a try. Thanks for the link.

Yep bottom of the seat of the Cumberland is PVC. Side tube has a fabric cover but the grey part of the seat is pvc. Most likely PVC cement will work perfectly.
Must be super clean is all . Jeffcpr has done mods (d-rings) on the FloatPlus1. Same stuff should work. See what he used specifically.

I have never heard of anyone successfully mounting a Bixby underneath her Cumberland.
