Battle of the Clubs

Hey guys I had an idea for a little friendly competition. Maybe we have a fishing contest between Social Media Groups. No prizes just bragging rights in the end.

We can hold this online Facebook, Instagram and so on. We need to come up with ground rules. As I like to do this should be open to all fresh and saltwater fishing. It would be a great way to promote our sites and just build a bigger community.

What do you guys think I am looking for input on this idea before I put it out there for others to see.

Interesting idea for sure. Personally I haven’t used IG in over five years, and only pop into FB once in awhile on my home iMac (removed FB from my phone).

How many different float tube clubs are out there?

There are a few some that I am sure would love to get involved and a few that don't play nice LOL.  I will do some research and get back to you.  The goal would be to open the Forum to all groups.  So it would be on social media but a lot of focus here on the forum

Sounds interesting but I’m not on any social media except here and I look at FishBrain once in a while. But no FB or Insta. If I can post up through the forum I’m in.

That would be the plan for us.  I would handle most of the social media stuff and posting would be here for us.

I know a few of us are in the California Harbor Fishing and All About Spotted Bay Bass groups on FB. Would those two groups be a part of the battle? As you know, many of those guys absolutely slay in their kayaks down there in Newport.

That is the first question is this float tubes only or can we say open to all fishing clubs.  We need a big discussion about this.

Jeff Collins of the Arizona Flyfishing in Float Tubes might be in on this.

Here is the fish list we can use so that anyone and everyone can get involved.  Freshwater and saltwater a like.  This is what we use to use for the Float Tournament Series.  Just need specific lengths for points in different fish.

Ok guys this is starting to look promising.  A group of us are hammering out details and rules.  So far we have people from Arizona, Oklahoma, Idaho, and Alaska in the mix so far.  Just a heads up on where we are in the process.
