Did an early session this morning at the LAB before tending to mom. Very slow . I missed the tidal movement. Got in at 630 and the tide topped off at 800. Picked off a few little ones but overall slow.
Had good and bad events today . Negative was my waders sprung a leak so I had cold feet and I had a bladder go soft on the Cumberland. I hope it’s just the valve as I was in the wife’s car and had to deflate to travel and inflate on the beach. Waders have seen some miles and have been on the list to replace anyway but now it’s necessary not just on the wish list.
Positive note is that I mounted the bixby motor to the bottom of the Cumberland and it works awesome. SP Dan was asking if anyone had done it and now I have. Same glue on pad that I used on the Maxxon. Come to find out the mounts are the same for the bixby as they are for the float plus. So Jeff, you can use a bixby motor on your tube since they haven’t offered the float plus motor in the US yet. I’ll try to get a video up soon. But it worked as good as it did on the Maxxon
