Sunday May 7, 2023 Otay San Diego

Hey guys,
I fished Lower Otay last Sunday. Caught a couple of small largemouths but nothing picture worthy. There is a lot of new growth in the lake and it is quite stained, but it is fun to fish all the new pockets and brush piles with the water level being so high.

I just thought I'd share a picture of the sunrise just as I was getting ready to get on the water.

That is an amazing shot thank for sharing this with us.  Glad you got out even if it was a few dinks.

I plan on purchasing my Arizona fishing license very soon because the fish in the pond right behind my house are weighing in at 6 pounds plus.
We have black bass, green bass, catfish, and carp in the lake behind my house.
