My very 1st float tube was a brick orange colored FishCat-4 deluxe.
I really liked, and still prefer the rugged materials that FishCat uses to tailor their float tubes, that being said …
I ended up buying (3) three Cumberlands afterward, and I ended up selling the FishCat to my friend for his wife. The Cumberland was much more comfortable.
I’ve always wished that Cumberland would change out some of the materials that they use when tailoring their product, but they are … what they are!
You either gotta luv them … or you don’t!
I just so happen to luv them over anything else out there on the market so far!
What can I say?
Personal side note:
I was able to land (20) twenty documented legal Halibut with photos and reports on FTFF; while on my Cumberlands, in just 6- months of fishing, before my 1st surgery on June 3, 2021.
My (2) two surgeries has temporarily knocked me off the water for a bit, but not forever!
Please keep in mind that the float tube will never catch your fish for you … you still need to be a smart angler or else you just need to be … smarter than a fish!!
Ha ha ha!!
I really enjoyed the lite weight Cumberland, and how easy it was to set up, handle and store. I also preferred the color of the Cumberland … as long as I had to look at it all day on the water, the color green is really much easier on my eyes.
If I were to buy another float tube, it would be a Cumberland.
Sorry for my rant fella’s!
That was just my two cents.
