The FTFF Gathering Feb 17th

So I would like to finally get this going again. We use to do FTFF Gathering just for fun and for 2024 its time to do it again. We will meet at least every other months for 2024. We will do some Freshwater and some Saltwater. For now we will start with our first FTFF Gathering being held at Huntington Harbor. We will meet at Seabridge park at 6 am and launch about 6:30 am. We will fish till noon and just share our stories at the end.

There is on competition or big event, just simply hanging put and doing what we all enjoy. This is a great opportunity for someone to try tubing the saltwater for the first time. Or maybe simply learn to float tube with people excited to help someone learn right. This will be low stress I fun and fishing for our community. Please fill free to invite your friends, share this on your social media accounts. Let us fill the water with tubes like never before this year.

Don't forget to join us on for this years FTFF Gathering. We will be doing one every other month and we are starting February 17th at Huntington Harbor for the first one. Just us for some relaxed fun float tube fishing. Bring your friends and lets fill the harbor.

OK who picked the rainy weekend for this event

I am watching the weather and maybe be pushing this to the following weekend. I will keep you all posted. I use to say rain what ever let's go. As I get older the warm bed starts to win out. I cannot believe I just said that out loud.

Now Saturday is looking much better.  Rain isn’t until Saturday night into Sunday (and the first part of next week).  Keep us posted on how you want to proceed .[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

OK guys sorry for the late reply. I am moving this to the 24th I know the weather looks like it will hold up but besides the weather I have a new issue. My son made a surprise visit from the Navy coming in just 2 nights ago. And we have a second Navy man in as well staying with us for a few weeks my sins high school friend.
Going to spend sometime with my son and our other new Navy son wow does kot have family.

Again sorry guys looking forward to getting this off the ground next Saturday is set.

Looking forward to it . Should be a great time . Didn’t miss anything today. Fishing was slow and it was cold and gloomy with storm coming . Next weekend should be way better.

Got on the fish today at HH. Got in the water at 7. Out by 11. Fished with my ultralight trout gear and had a blast. 2 18"-ish baby barndoors, one spotty and a VERY small sand bass. Also caught three smelt, which were fun to catch on the ultralight rig. Water was calm, but dirty and there was minimal traffic.
