Just got one. It seems to be the older model. It has the round ends on the pontoons. Is the newer model better or improved in some way ?

Are the back pack strap d-rings on the top or bottom side of the tube?

There 4 D rings on bottom of seat in each of the corners. I would guess this is for back pack straps

I thought the newest model did not have the round end patches on the pontoons. The picture on amazon is differant. The ends of the pontoons appear more streamlined.

The picture that most distributors use is actually about three models ago. It's an older one

I couldn't tell if I had the new model or not. Cant wait to use this tube in the Adirondack mountains. Its all under the ice right now. Have to wait till May. Awesome looking tube.
