Fished Suwannee Big Bend area Florida Last Week

Had a great time fishing Florida last week. The fish were biting real good on the 3/4 ounce johnson spoon. The fish came off of oyster bars and grass flats. Average depth was a foot of water. It was a little too warm some days. Found a nice double wide home with an acre and across the street from a nature preserve/santa fe river. Gonna make offer this week. I love Florida. 30lbish black drum. You didn't want to catch them to often. If you fished gulp it was instant on them. They made boat wakes when hooked and took awhile to land. Kinda zapped your fishing time.

its magical. go in Oct - Dec. the reds stack in the tidal rivers and creeks. its insane. the mobile home i'm bidding on has a guest shed with patio. Gonna pimp it out with kayaks and air conditioning. Rodman, Orange, Newnans, St Lawrence river for freshwater. 10 - 35 min drive. the gulf is 50 min and atlantic is 45 min.
