Hey everyone so my toon has a leak somewhere i have patched three holes already and it still has a leak i cannot find. im workin on it but i am not sure if i will have it fixed by the gathering, if i do great if not, i am asking if anyone has a spare or older tube or toon i could borrow. Unless someone guys my cumara rod and chronarch reel i can go buy one. its posted in the classifieds. i am going to be sending it in for warranty if i cannot fix it. message me if you have one i can borrow.

Hey pavo21, I know this is a long shot but can you just simply put green slime for tires in the toon and see if it will be able to seal up the leak you can not find? Might be alot of work.

Can somebody tell me about some of the details.... For instance, I know the 6:00am launch, but should we get there early (like 5:00 am) to setup, pay the money for rod, etc? And then what time does everybody meet for the "weigh in"?

Here are the details:
October 18th @ NPH Coast Guard Station
1911 Bayside Dr., Newport Beach CA
Launch Time: 6am sharp
Weigh in (digital photos) 12:00 noon
Custom Rod Competition Entrance Fee: $10
Simple Rules:
For the Custom Rod competition it is pretty simple, Heaviest fish with a clear photo showing the weight of the fish and a special sticker that you put on the scale will need to show up on the photo to win the rod. Make sure you get a clear picture. I will pass out the sticker that needs to show up in the photos the day of. No minimum size of fish required, so snap a pic of your catch!
All three species of BASS count (Spotties, Sandies, Calicos) and HALIBUT also. So bring your "A" game!
I plan on getting there at 5:30am as I know other will too. There are several parking spaces at the coast guard station, first come first serve. There is also plenty of parking on the street. Look for me and pay your $10 entrace fee and be ready to launch by 6am!
Dont forget your camera and scale! That would be like fishing with no bait. If you don't have a scale, fish with someone that does.
NO live bait, plastics ONLY. Bring it!
I'll post up photos of the Custom Phenix Bass Rod someone is gonna score by tomorrow.
For the original posters and organizers, feel free to use these same simple rules if you wish.

Ok everyone, So i spoke with the sheriffs office they said we cannot grill and hang out in the parking lot, so after our gathering, i would like to have everyone meet at my Hookah Lounge in huntington beach if you can come.
So we will end at 12 for fishing then meet up at my shop, if anyone wants to bbq or anything i will bring my bbq to my shop to do so. so if you can pot luck style it up that would be great!! anything is welcome, food or booze which ever.

So i recommend kicking back in around 1130 to get the beach and load up. My lounge is about 15 minutes away from where we are launching from. if anyone has any questions my number is 530-917-0253.
