Santa Fe Dam was worth the time

OK so there were no big fish but the best part of the day was that my youngest son got out for his first float tube trip with me. he is not much for fishing but was a trooper and said he would go because he knew it was what I was hoping for. Long Story short we planned on doing some Bluegill Hunting and we found them. But Bruce ended up with his skunk better being a light LMB that came out to play.
All in all he had a great time just floating around and hooking some fish for a nice lazy Sunday morning. So 2 of my 3 kids have been out with me and have had good experiences which just leaves my daughter. I will be planning a trip for her next year, and I will say of all 3 kids she might end up being my true fishing partner.
