Hey guys new to this forum. Decided to sell off some of my ocean gear and invest in a float tube. Is there any advise you can give to me to be better prepared for my first time out on the water? Thanks

Welcome to the forum FishRaider!
What areas do you plan on tube fishing, freshwater, saltwater, bay, mountain, type of fish you want to chase? Do you have waders and fins already?

Welcome to the forum.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if you hooked up with someone your first time. A little info on what sort of fishing you want to do on a tube will help with determining how best to advise you.

Also, it's very addictive. You've been warned Cool

I will use it for both lake and ocean fishing. Really looking forward to doing some harbor fishing probably in Newport and San Diego. For lakes will first try Lake Gregory in Crestline. Thanks

For Lake Gregory I'm thinking cooler water and trout fishing.
Waders, fins, and your favorite trout stuff. Fly or spinning.
I'm guessing if you have ocean stuff you already have the bay stuff.

hope this helps
