Have not thought about it as it seems to be too cumbersome but that is just me I know some have and do use a Tolling Motor

This question arises periodically.
Not long ago we had a link to a trolling set up for tubes that cost about $1000, and that seemed to be a deal breaker. Rigging a standard trolling motor to the back of your tube seems to be too cumbersome. There is a company that makes a small tube that holds a battery and trolling motor you can lash to your tube.

Personally ... I'd just purchase a small skiff; like a Boston Whaler, if I wanted a motor driven craft.

Agreed - Even a little plastic dinghy with a trolling motor would be cheaper and less hassle than trying to power a tube.
